Tight movements in steel prices, settles at previous levels

The steel market remained steady in the national capital today as prices continued to move in a tight range in scattered deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said negligible enquiries from construction units against adequate stocks position kept steel prices at last levels.

Following are today's quotations (in Rs per tonne):

Saria Kamdhenu: 8-mm Rs 38,000, 10-mm Rs 36,200, 12-mm Rs 35,600, 16-25 mm Rs 35,600.
