TMC sweeps Assembly bypolls too

Trinamool Congress today repeated its success story in the Assembly bypolls in West Bengal as well, sweeping five out of the six constituencies.

The seats which the Trinamool Congress won are: Chakdaha, Galsi, Kotulpur, Maynaguri and Santipur.

Kar Ratna Ghosh won from Chakdaha, Gour Chandra Mandal won from Galsi, Shyamal Santra from Kotulpur, Ananta Deb Adhikari from Maynaguri and Ajoy Dey from Santipur.

Left Front constituent RSP's Manoj Kumar Oraon won the Kumargram seat.
