Toddler's body recovered from open drain

The body of two-year-old boy, who had gone missing last evening, was today recovered from a sewerage in Brahmpuri area here, police said.

The boy, identified as Annu, may have fallen into the open drain while playing as one of his slippers was recovered from the accident site by the rescue team, the police said.

The body has been handed over to the family, they said.
