Tata Power-backed power distribution company TPDDL today sent a team of engineers and technicians to help Uttarakhand Power Corporation Limited in restoring power supply to a number of areas in the flood-ravaged state.
TPDDL officials said the team will help UPCL restoring major transmission lines which were damaged in the flash floods.
This is the second batch of technicians and engineers TPDDL has sent to Uttarakhand. The first batch had returned to Delhi from Uttarakhand in the second week of July after restoring power supply on critical circuits in flood- ravaged Tilot-Hina-Maneri-Bhatwari section.
