Press Trust of India New Delhi
Traffic took a hit across the National Capital Region today as intermittent showers since yesterday caused waterlogging at many places.

Delhi received 93.8 mm of rainfall between 5.30 PM yesterday to 8.30 AM.

According to Delhi traffic police, vehicular movement was slow in Najafgarh area, Dhansa, Chhawla, Nangloi, Delhi Gate, ITO junction, Dhaula Kuan and Naraina.

Commuters travelling to the national capital from Gurgaon and Noida were also stuck in traffic due to waterlogging in the adjoining suburbs.

The MeT department has predicted that sporadic rains will continue to lash the city throughout the day.

Yesterday too, continuous downpour had left various areas submerged in knee-deep water causing traffic snarls and chaos.
