Tata group retail arm Trent today announced that it has re-appointed its Managing Director Philip Auld for next three years.
The Nomination and Remuneration Committee have approved committee reappointment of Auld on fresh terms with effect from May 1, 2017 to April 30, 2020.
"Under Auld's leadership and the guidance and support of the board of directors and its committees, the turnover, profits etc of the company had grown over the years," the company said in a regulatory filing.
It further added: "...The board of directors of the company on the recommendation of Nomination and remuneration committee have approved the reappointment of Auld as Managing Director of the company on fresh terms and conditions of appointment and remuneration with effect from May 1, 2017 to April 30, 2020."
Auld is working with Trent from 2011.
Besides, the company has also appointed Abhijit Sen as additional director of the company.
