Trent Q3 net profit rises 14% to Rs 37 cr

Tata Group firm Trent today reported a 13.99 per cent rise in standalone net profit at Rs 37.22 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 32.65 crore in the year-ago period.

Its total income from operations also rose 14.87 per cent to Rs 440.71 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 383.63 crore a year ago.

Trent Ltd shares closed 1.59 per cent up at Rs 210.20 apiece on BSE.
