Two accused shot dead in Ludhiana

Two proclaimed offenders were shot dead today in an alleged encounter with the police here.

A team of police raided a house at Jamalpur colony here to nab two proclaimed offenders who were wanted in a case of attempt to murder, police said.

The victims have been identified as brothers, Jatinder Singh and Ravinder Singh.

Both were wanted by Machiwara police in Khanna police district in a case of attempt to murder, police said.

When contacted, SSP Khanna Harsh Bansal said the police is investigating the incident and a case will be registered later.
