Two children drowned in a well while bathing at Junapani village in the district, police said today.
The incident took place last evening when the two kids, identified as Sumit Nandram and Arvind Inwati, both aged nine, went to a well in the village for taking bath, Chapara Police Station in-charge, K K Brahme said.
When the duo did not return home for long, their parents launched a search. Later, some villagers found their clothes near the well and when they looked inside, they saw the bodies floating.

After receiving an alert, police reached the spot and fished out the bodies.
Police handed over the bodies to family members after autopsy. A case has been registered in this regard, the officer said.
