Two resident doctors of King George's Medical University have been suspended for allegedly harassing their female colleagues here.

Resident doctors Mehtabuddin of Physiology department and Varun Singla of Plastic Surgery department were suspended yesterday after they were found prima facie guilty of harassment by a university committee, an official spokesman of KGMU said today.

While a group of girls had given written complaint against Mehtabuddin for passing cheap comments and lewd remarks on them, Singla was accused of harassing a female colleague to the extent that her marriage was called off.

The girl had lodged a complaint against Singla at Chowk police station and also with UP state women commission.
