Two kids charred to death

Two children were

charred to death at Daho village in Garhwa district, the police said today.

Bhulan Bhuyan (9 years) and Rama Bhuyan (6), brothers, died when their hutment caught fire yesterday, the police said.

Their mother Imli Devi suffered minor burns as she tried desperately to save the children, who were sleeping when the fire engulfed the hut, the sources said.

The nearby bale of hay caught fire and spread to the hut, the police said.
