Two killed, 20 injured in road mishap

Two persons were killed and 20 others injured when a passenger bus turned turtle in Budgam district of Kashmir Valley today, police said.

A bus enroute to Srinagar from Chitru-Dangerpora turned turle near Roppora, 30 kms from here, in central Kashmir, resulting in injuries to 22 persons, they said.

The injured were taken a local hospital, where two of them succumbed to injuries, police said, adding that condition of one another was stated to be critical.

Meanwhile, Finance minister A R Rather extended his condolences to the bereaved families.
