Two killed in road accident in Moga

Two youths were killed when the bike they were riding on collided head on with a car coming from opposite direction near Hakima village here, police said today.

Kuldeep Kaur (17) and Daljit Singh (18) were were yesterday returning to their village Jaimal Singh Wala after attending a religious procession. Their bike collided with a car killing the duo on the spot, they said.

Meanwhile, in another incident, 17-year-old Kulwant Singh was crushed to death by a truck here at Badowal village yesterday.

The deceased was riding on a bicycle, police said, adding, the truck driver fled from the spot.
 

Both the cases have been registered and further investigations are on, they said.
