Two youths were run over by a train at Bharwari railway station in Kokhraj area in the district, police said today.
Dimple (26) and Haleem (24) came under the wheels of Guwahati-Delhi Bhrahmaputra Mail late last night, they said.
The incident occurred when Dimple was going to receive his brother Ashwini at Bharwari railway station, police said.
Station House Officer Vinod Yadav said that since a crowd gathered at the spot after the incident, Prayagraj Express was detained by the authorities at Bharwari railway station for half-an-hour to avoid any untoward incident.
The bodies have been sent for postmortem.
