Two siblings electrocuted in UP

Two members of a family were electrocuted and another received serious burn injuries when they came in contact with a high tension wire here today, police said.

Puja (18) and her brother Ranjit (20) were electrocuted when a high tension wire fell on the girl who was grazing her cattle in Chanehari village under Cantt police station area and the latter rushed to her rescue, they said.

The younger brother, who was also there, was seriously injured as he tried to save his siblings and was admitted to hospital, police said, adding the bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
