Two Surajkund visitors robbed off cash and valuables

Two visitors at the Surajkund Mela here were allegedly robbed off around Rs 15,000 and other valuables, police said today.

Tamra Nicola Yebna's purse containing USD 250 and gold jewellery was stolen yesterday, the last day of the 29th Surajkund International Crafts Mela here, they said.

Sidha Begum, a Pakistani national also reported that his purse containing ID card, mobile phone and passport was stolen by thieves at the fair yesterday, police said.

A case has been registered in the matter and is being investigated, they said.

In another incident of theft, Dharu Kumar, resident of National Highway 4 alleged that an LCD TV, a computer, two gas cylinders and Rs 9,500 cash were stolen from his house, police said, adding that a case has been registered and probe is on in the matter.
