Two wanted criminals arrested

Two persons, alleged to be notorious criminals and wanted in several cases, have been arrested when they were robbing a man in Pushp Vihar area in the national capital, police said today.

"The accused, Gaurav and Gulshan, were attempting to rob a person at knife point in Pushp Vihar area last night. A constable Ravinder, who was on patrolling, heard some noise and saw accused. The accused were overpowered and captured by Ravinder with the help of some locals," said a police official.

"During investigation, it was revealed that both of them wanted in five other cases of chain snatching and robbery," the official said, adding, a knife had been recovered from their possession.
