A couple, apparently in their 40s, was today found dead under mysterious circumstances in Tirokpuri area here.
The deceased have been identified as Madhusudhan and his wife Seema, police said.
The incident came to light when a passerby today noticed two persons lying unconscious behind a gurudwara.
Some injuries marks have also been on their bodies.
"Police are awaiting their postmortem reports to ascertain the cause of their deaths. A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is on," said a police official.
