Two youths drown in dam

Two youths drowned while swimming

in a dam near here, police said today.

A group of seven youths, residents of Nashik Road's Lokhande-Mala locality, went to Waldevi dam for swimming yesterday.

However, two of them - Swapnil Balasaheb Rajguru (24) and Veeru Kharche (22) - drowned as they failed to judge the level of water in the dam, Wadivhare police said.

The bodies were fished out last night and sent to Nashik Civil Hospital for postmortem, police added.
