Three students drown in dam

Three students drowned in Vaniyar Dam, 52 km from here, in the district today, police said.

The trio, identified as M Ananth (17) R Kabil (14) and V Prakash (19), went to the dam for taking a bath. Their friends had made a futile attempt to rescue them, Police said.
