The newly-appointed Deputy High Commissioner of UK here, Geeoff Vain, today called on the Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel.

The UK has opened a Deputy High Commission here, its fifth in the country after Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata and Goa.

During the recently concluded Vibrant Gujarat Summit, UK minister for trade and investment Lord Livingston had made an announcement in this regard.
