Vandals damage Ambedkar statue

Unidentified persons today partially damaged a statue of B R Ambedkar in the city, police said.

Police said the index finger of the statue was found damaged. People in the area protested and demanded action against the miscreants.

Police said the incident could have occurred early this morning.
