The Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University authorities today expressed regret for the typographical error in varsity's LLB entrance paper, wherein the "Honourable Chief Justice of India" was written as "Hoourable...".

Talking to reporters here, university proctor Dr Waqar Hussain said, "This was a typographical error and we have demanded an explanation from the press which printed these papers."

"Besides, we have also sent our 'letter of regret' to various media houses today," Hussain added.

The typographical error had come to light yesterday during the entrance exam for varsity's LLB course in which the "Honourable Chief Justice of India" was written as "Hoourable Chief Justice of India".

The typographical error had occurred only in the English version of the entrance paper, Hussain said, adding that there was no such error in the Hindi version.
