Wage issue will be solved amicably,says TN minister

The Tamil Nadu Electricity minister P Thangamani today exuded confidence that the wage issue of electricity board employees would be settled amicably.

Speaking to reporters here, Thangamani said talks on the issue were "smoothly going on."

Asked about officials reportedly walking out of a meeting yesterday, he said the officials did not walk out but had gone to meet and discuss with senior officials and the talks would resume on Thursday.
