Wheat futures edge higher by on speculative buying

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, for delivery in April was trading lower by Rs 7, or 0.39 per cent to Rs 1,783 per with an open interest of 1,110 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in futures to fresh positions created by traders.
