In a gruesome incident, a newborn girl was brutally murdered and thrown into the toilet of the district hospital here, police said today.
Throat of the child was slit and her legs were broken before she was dumped into the toilet last night, police said.
The incident came to fore when some patients heard the cries of the baby, but she died soon after.
Chief Medical Officer Sarvesh Saxena said it was being investigated that how the infant was taken to the toilet.
