Woman commits suicide after arguing with husband

A woman allegedly committed suicide today by jumping from a moving bus after an altercation with her husband, the conductor, near here.

Police said the 30-year-old woman suffered head injuries and died on the spot.

Police said the woman was travelling from Sattur to Vilathikulam, when a wordy duel broke out with her husband, the bus-conductor.

She suddenly got up from her seat and jumped from the speeding bus, they said.

The husband has been detained for questioning, police said.
