Woman found dead inside house in Ghaziabad

A 22-year-old woman was today found dead with her body found hanging from a ceiling fan inside her rented house in Maliwara area here, police said.

The woman, a native of Darjeeling, lived with her husband who works in a private company. She allegedly committed suicide last night, deputy superintendent of policeManish Mishra said.

Her husband was not present when the incident took place and the body was found by her landlord this morning, Mishra said.

The body has been sent for post mortem, he said, adding the victim's family has been informed.

No suicide note was recovered from the spot, the DSP said, adding, an FIR has not been registered yet.
