Woman killed in bear attack in J-K

A woman was killed after being attacked by a wild bear in Doda district, Forest officials said here today.

Neema Devi had gone to collect woods in the forest area yesterday when she was attacked by the beast, the officials said.

She was critically injured in the attack and later succumbed to her wounds, they said.

Following the incident, locales held protests over rise in number of attack by wild animals in forest belt of Doda.
