A 25-year-old married woman was stabbed to death allegedly by her paramour after her repeated demand of money in Sikar district of Rajasthan, police said today.
The incident occurred last evening when Dharmpal (24), a truck driver, was called by Suman to meet at an isolated place near Badwadi village in Patan area of the district.
When Suman demanded Rs 10,000 from Dharmpal, he stabbed her to death, police said.
"After killing the woman, he went to his father-in-law and narrated the incident. His father-in-law informed the police following which he was caught," they said.
During initial interrogation, Dharmpal said the woman, with whom he was in contact for nearly two years, had been demanding money repeatedly so he decided to kill her, police said, adding, the probe is on in the matter.
