Woman, youth jump before train, die

A woman and a youth allegedly committed suicide by jumping before a speeding train in Jind district of Haryana this evening, police said.

The incident happened between Bansola and Uchana railway stations, they said adding both died at the scene.

The dead, both residents of Baroda village in Jind, were identified as Sudesh, aged 30, and Vikas (18), police said.

The reason that led the two to end their lives was yet to be ascertained.

Their bodies had been sent for post mortem, police said.
