Women on morning walk hit by vehicle; dead

Three women were killed after being hit by a vehicle while on a morning walk in Amroha district today, police said.

Farida (42), Ibta Khanam (52) and Mohsina (22), all residents of Allipur Chopla, were on a morning walk when an unknown vehicle hit them on Hasanpur Road in Gajraula area, they said, adding that the women died on the spot.

The bodies have been sent for post mortem.
