Women should dream big and support each other in changing the world, United States Ambassador Nancy Powell said, stressing on the importance of education for girls.
"We want to help recognise the importance of a girl's right to be educated and their right to live a healthy life in any country," said Powell at the launch of Girl Rising Country Partnership.
While exhorting women to work together for changing the world, she said, "We all women have something in common...We have similar challenges to face. But we can work together and support each another. We can dream big and we can change the world."
Powell is the first woman United States Ambassador to India.
The launch was followed by the screening of the film 'Girl Rising' which focused on the importance of education of girls.
