Youth arrested for raping, murdering cousin sister

A 20-years-old youth has been arrested for raping and murdering her cousin sister in Visheshwarganj area here, police said today.

The girl was raped by her cousin brother Krishna Mohan Shukla alias Munna (20) Thursday when she had gone to collect mangoes from an orchard. She was found dead in a nearby cane field, police said.

"Shukla was arrested yesterday for the rape and murder of his 11-year-old cousin sister," Additional Superintendent of Police Sunil Singh said.

Singh said that during interrogation, Shukla admitted to his crime.
