Youth dies after trial run

A contestant for the

constable's job in a security force died today after falling ill in Nadia district.

A senior police officer said Debabrata Ghosh (21) complained of uneasiness after finishing a 5-km trial run along NH 34 at Kalyani More and declared dead at J N M Hospital in the district.

Ghosh was a resident of Bathangachhi Bhurulia village.

The body has been sent for autopsy to ascertain the exact cause of death, the police said.

The version of the security force was not known.
