Youth killed over monetary dispute

A youth was allegedly killed over a monetary dispute in the district, police said today.

Dinesh, aged between 28-30 years, was found in an unconscious state yesterday near a sewer in Prem Nagar area.

He was rushed to a hospital where he was declared brought dead, a police complaint lodged by the victim's brother said.

In the complaint, the brother has claimed that there had been a monetary dispute between Dinesh and one Vikas, who stays in the same neighbourhood.

No arrests have been made so far, police said, adding investigation is on.
