Lube Export Plan Shelved

The Bangladesh government has refused to amend its policy restricting sale of blended lubricants, said Das Gupta. However, there is no restriction to sell base oil.

Bangladesh forms a lucrative area for the company to sell base oil from its proposed refinery in Orissa.

At present, it is identifying partners in Bangladesh to set up a lube blending facility in the neighbourhood.
