Maruti Launches Zen With Auto Transmission Facility

The introduction of automatic transmission gear box in the Zen will free drivers from the strain of frequent manual shifting of gears.

The sale of Zen has seen rapid growth in the domestic market since 1993-94, its initial year of production.

During the last financial year, 21,694 units of the car were sold in the country, registering a growth of 173 per cent over the previous year, a company release said.

Between April and July this year, the company has sold 16,925 units of Zen.

It has also introduced new colours, aquamarine and reddish blue, besides the existing colours.
