Dazen, a smartphone brand by Chinese manufacturer Coolpad, launched two 4G LTE handsets for the Indian market on Thursday. To be available exclusively on Snapdeal June 9 onwards, the Dazen X7 is priced at Rs 17,999 while the Dazen 1 will be priced at Rs 6,999. Registrations for Dazen 1 opened on Thursday.
These dual-sim phones claim to have extended battery life of up to 50%, using unique patented algorithms which reduce battery consumption. The company claims that their technology has the unique ability to save 30% more battery life while browsing, 45% more battery while using navigation tools, and 40% more battery while gaming. These three tasks, claims Varun Sharma, CEO, Coolpad India, use up up to 80% of an average smartphone’s battery, and can be performed on Dazen phones wasting less battery.
Targeting photography enthusiasts, the Dazen X7 has pro-mode features which allow users to set the contrast, white balance, aperture and shutter speed while providing a rear camera with f/1.8. Both phones run Android 4.4 Kit Kat and support microSD cards up to 32GB.
