Micromax launches the multilingual Unite 3

Powered by Firstouch, Swipe feature of phone helps users type faster in their regional language

Catering to the multilinguistic market in India, Micromax has partnered with Firstouch to launch Unite 3  on Wednesday, which comes preloaded with 10 regional languages.  

Besides letting its users communicate in their preferred language, the smartphone also comes with the Unite messaging service, which facilitates the users to translate and transliterate in the language they love, with the patented ‘Swipe’ feature.

Powered by Firstouch, the Swipe feature of the phone helps the users type faster in their regional language using Regional Keyboard with Matra and Word prediction.

The user can also change the menu of their phone to their preferred language. The utility of accessing content in one's regional language extends to about 10,000 applications, accessed through the App bazaar.
 

The phone run on an Android Lollipop 5.0 operating system, with a 1.3GHz Quad Core Processor and 1GB of RAM. It has a 4.7-inch WVGA (480 * 800) IPS display, an 8MP auto focus rear camera and a 2MP fixed focus front camera. Micromax Unite 3 has been priced at Rs 6,999 and is initially available in white & blue colours.
