Newshunt e-book platform partners with Graphic India to launch digital comics' section

Majority of the comics will be made free for users of the app and supported through advertising

In order to expand their offering in the country, news and e-books app Newshunt announced it had partnered with Graphic India to launch digital comic section on its mobile app.

The partnership will bring hundreds of Graphic India’s digital comics to mobile devices across English, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu, Malayalam and other local languages. Majority of the comics will be made free for users of Newshunt and supported through advertising.

Newshunt, flagship product of Verse Innovation, has about 20 million active users a month and more than 3 billion page views a month. Graphic India focuses on creating characters, comics and stories through mobile and digital platforms. It offers news from more than 100 news sources in 12 languages.
