Mobile phone handset maker Nokia India on Friday has developed range of location services which represents integrated mapping service available on Noikia Lumia smart phones. It has also introduced sensors, GPS and compass in its smart phones. With this, Nokia is eying to increase its smart phones business sales.
Speaking on this in Pune, Vipul Mehrotra, director and head of smart devices at Nokia India said, "Offering a suite of innovative and constantly evolving apps, the Nokia location suite of services represents the most comprehensive, integrated mapping experience on any smart phone today. In India. We have mapped 4,000 cities and towns, and various establishments, 1.2 million km of roads, 11 cities to provide public transport schedules and time tables in English on the screen and voice guided navigation in English, Hindi and Tamil."
