Qualcomm in talks for launching LTE services

US-based chipmaker Qualcomm is in active discussions with telecom operators for launching its broadband wireless access (BWA) or LTE services. The firm is awaiting allotment of BWA spectrum from department of telecommunications after grant of an internet service provider license last month following a delay of over one and half years.
