Ubox, is an app which helps users to reduce the clutter in their SMS inbox. The app makes it easier to manage SMS conversations with banks, DTH, operators and other applications, thus separating them from other promotional messages, the company said in a statement.
The app is able to tell the difference between an important and a promotional message. The app auto sorts SMSes into banking, bills, bookings, chats, promo & updates. With that done, users can switch notifications on or off according to the type of SMS.
Ubox, co-founder, Hameer Virmani said: “We understand that no one is texting friends and family anymore and when so many people around us started complaining about the constant distraction of SMSes from businesses we knew it was a problem worth solving. With the onset of digital India, the number of SMSes we all get is going to quadruple by next year.”
The app also lets you block spam and with each block their spam filter continues to get better for everyone using the app
