Wipro officials call on Jayalalithaa

Wipro Chairman Azim Premji and a host of top officials called on Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa in Chennai on Friday.

A company official said it was a courtesy call and during the 30-minute meeting, several investments made by the Bangalore-headquartered company in Tamil Nadu and ongoing projects were discussed.

Wipro currently has Development Centres in Chennai and Coimbatore, the sources said.
