Yash Papers plans biodegradable tableware plant

Yash Papers Ltd is planning to manufacture 100-percent biodegradable products from bagasse-based paperboard single use biodegradable tableware at Faizabad (Uttar Pradesh) with an installed production capacity of 3,300 MTPA.
 
“This state of the art facility also includes a product innovation centre. Yash Papers Eco Green Tableware products are microwave and freezer safe, as well as grease and cut resistant. The company is organising foundation laying ceremony of its said new tableware plant on April 22, 2016,” said Yash Papers in a BSE filing on April 14, 2016.
 
Meanwhile, Yash Papers Ltd has started commercial production of its egg tray and pulp drying plants at Faizabad.
