Global advertising star Ekalavya Hansaj talks about the importance of NLP in Scaling any Advertising Business
Have you ever faced the struggle of taking your 5 or 6-figure advertising business to the next level?

Have you ever faced the struggle of taking your 5 or 6-figure advertising business to the next level? Where does the problem lie; is it a team, management or scaling problem? Top ad tech leader Ekalavya Hansaj shares his insights in this exclusive interview with us.
Ekalavya Hansaj Says “Within the advertising and marketing industry, there is general consensus that the scaling of an advertising business to the next level is one of the most challenging aspects. How do you find current issues in your company and address those to reach new revenue heights? Is the problem your management team, employees, or simply a lack of knowledge?
According to Ekalavya Hansaj, the founder of Quarterly Global and various brands, "There is perhaps no one-answer-fits-all model to fixing a struggling businesses’ issues, but throughout my 10-years in advertising and helping businesses rapidly scale to 9-figures, I’ve come across 4-common similarities that keeps an advertising business stuck around the 5/6-figure level."
So we caught up with the ad tech leader Ekalavya Hansaj and asked him a few questions concerning the use of NLP in advertising businesses and the most common problems these advertising businesses often face.
Ekalavya Hansaj says lack of leadership is one of the reasons. He says the following:
More often than not, employees are not at fault for a business being stuck at a 5 or 6-figure revenue stream. It is more likely a matter of leadership.
Why does Ekalavya Hansaj say this?
It is the job of the owner of the company to create a vision and corresponding goals-list, and then put in place a management team to execute that vision. It is not the business owners’ job to manage people, that is why you have management in place. A CEO is the leader, the alpha that creates the vision and goals and inspires his/her management team to reach those goals. If your management team falters, employees lack the inspiration and knowledge needed to commit to daily tasks needed to realize your advertising company’s vision and goals.
When your advertising business is failing, look towards areas where you as the leader are faltering, and correct your own mistakes first before firing anyone. Most often, when we focus on change within ourselves, things around us change too.
Another important and a very surprising yet truthful reason Ekalavya Hansaj shared is that most of the advertising business owners Lack Knowledge on How to Scale.
Ekalavya Hansaj went on to elaborate further and said ‘knowledge is power.’ I believe it is the right kind of knowledge though that makes all the difference in a business. To gain knowledge, you have to continually educate yourself as the advertising business owner, and stay on top of changes in the industry. Furthermore, you have to know everything that is going on with your numbers. How many sales per day, how many new clients were acquired, how is the customer service team doing?
Scaling a business is no easy task, but it is made easier with knowing what to do, and when to do it. For that, knowledge is needed. Find books on how to scale an advertising business, consult a mentor, or ask your management team to come up with new techniques never tried before. More heads working on a problem is better than one. You’ll be surprised at the awesome ideas your team can come up with to solve a problem.
