Analysts at Axis Securities retained a 'Buy' rating on Biocon with a target price of ₹485 per share post Q2 earnings. The brokerage reckons that Biocon's Biosimilars and Generics segment delivered healthy revenue growth of 3 per cent and 10 per cent, respectively, while the Services segment weighed. Axis Securities noted that working capital increased marginally due to higher inventory levels to support the expected scale-up in Biosimilars and Generics during H2FY27. Going forward, the management remains confident of delivering stronger revenue growth, improved cash flows, and better return ratios during the second half of FY27, backed by accelerating operational momentum. "Management expects Biosimilars growth to accelerate meaningfully during H2FY27, driven by the US launch of bAflibercept (Yesafili) and bDenosumab (Bosaya/Okelso). In the Generics business, growth in the GLP-1 portfolio is expected to be supported by the continued scale-up of generic Liraglutide across the US and other global markets, leveraging the company's established peptide and fermentation manufacturing capabilities," the brokerage said in a note.
