Power trading solutions provider PTC India on Saturday announced appointment of Manoj Kumar Jhawar as Chairman & Managing Director of the company.
Manoj Kumar Jhawar joined PTC Board as Whole time Director designated as Director (Commercial & Operations) on January 18, 2024, a regulatory filing said.
He was given additional responsibilities of the post of CMD (PTC) from 13th June, 2024, till further orders.
The Board of Directors of PTC India at its meeting held on Saturday i.e. 26th April, 2025 considered and approved appointment of Manoj Kumar Jhawar as Chairman & Managing Director of the company with effect from date of his joining subject to the Articles of Association of the Company, the filing stated.
The term of his appointment shall be till the date of attaining the age of superannuation i.e. 60 years.

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said that the port city of Visakhapatnam will emerge as a game changer in achieving the 'Swarna Andhra' (golden Andhra Pradesh) vision.
By 2047, Naidu wants to transform the state to achieve a GSDP of USD 2.4 trillion with a per capita income of USD 42,000, among other targets under the SwarnaAndhra@2047 vision.
The chief minister noted that there are ample opportunities to transform the city into a financial capital and a knowledge hub.
"Visakhapatnam with the highest per capita income in Andhra Pradesh state will be a game changer in achieving Swarna Andhra," Naidu said addressing a meeting on the sidelines of inaugurating Andhra Medical College's centenary building.
Naidu added that key changes will occur in the city in the next two to three years which would include Bhogapuram Airport and the completion of metro rail in a definite period, along with other new projects in future.

The Rajya Sabha on Thursday returned the Finance Bill 2025 to the Lok Sabha, along with 35 government amendments, including one that abolishes a 6 per cent digital tax on online advertisements, thus completing the 2025-26 budgetary exercise that started on February 1.

Replying to the debate later in the evening, she said the tendency of the finance ministry would be to exercise caution and not let go of revenues.
"But, here we wanted to use this opportunity to show our respect for Indian taxpayer. We have moved towards setting Rs 12 lakh as threshold up to which no one will have to pay any tax," Sitharaman said.
