Bandipora-Gurez road opens for traffic after 5 months

Bandipora (JandK), May 07 (ANI): 85-km-long Bandipora-Gurez road in Jammu and Kashmir was opened for vehicular traffic on Monday after 5 months. The stretch was closed owing to intense snowfall in the region. Gurez road was cut off after the road closed. Ceremony was held at Razdan pass, 11,500 feet above sea level. With consistent efforts by Indian Army and Border Road Organisation (BRO), the road was cleared in due time.
